Alpha is for everyone and is based around a meal, it includes a video presentation and short discussion. It lasts for 10 weeks and covers such subjects as 'Who is Jesus?' 'Why did Jesus die?' 'How Should I Pray' 'What About the Church?' 'Who is the Holy Spirit?' 'Does God Heal Today?' How Can I Make The Most Of The Rest Of My Life?'
The Alpha Course is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun and at Alpha no question is too simple or too hostile.
We have a large venue, caterers and a cinema screen presentation. Anyone who wants to find out more about the Christian faith can come along. If you find it isn't for you then you simply don't turn up, there's no pressure to say, do or sign up for anything.

Its amazing when I think about Jesus Christ that he was executed in his early thirties outside the city of Jerusalem in AD 33, he didn't write a book and had little or no followers when he died and yet according to the Encyclopedia Britannica he now has 1,900 million followers or 34% of the world's population. Jesus Christ's influence on the human race has been nothing short of staggering. How can this be?

What is an Alpha Course?
It is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun way. Each session starts with a communal meal, enabling participants to get to know each other. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. The course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as “Who is Jesus?” and “Why and How Do I Pray?” After each talk you divide into small groups for discussion.

Who is Alpha For?
Alpha is for people wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, and those who have lost faith. In summary, Alpha is for anybody!

How much does it cost?
There is no charge for the course or the associated meals.
