ConNect
 Our Cluster vision is to 'Connect and Contribute to the Community' of the North End of Deal.
Community
North Deal has very little in terms of Community facilities and activities- we feel that we can show the love of Christ by getting involved in the Community as best we can.
We meet at Sandown School and feel that we should support the school and its role within the Community.
A number of our Cluster are Parents/Grandparents and Governors and so we have offered help at the Christmas Fayre and supported the PTA where we can.
We have held a couple of creative craft events for children/families.
Our 'ConNect Crafty Easter' was great fun-seeing 30+children and mums and dads being creative together and enjoying some tea and cake was a really encouraging experience.
We are also seeking to connect with Gerald Palmby Court (Warden controlled Housing). We had a great evening Carol Singing and would like to build on the relationship there. We also have a natural connection with New Century Nursery with Paula Cooper being part of the leadership of ConNect.
Venue
ConNect Cluster meets at Sandown School (Golf Road) once a month at 10:30
for a fairly informal time of activities, refreshment and worship(suitable for all ages). We are exploring ways in which we can connect more with the community during these times.
When the weather is fine-we plan to meet by Sandown Castle and give refreshments away to the local dog walkers on a Sunday morning!
