Children's Groups on Sunday at 10:30am
Children’s groups run every Sunday morning apart from once every half term when we have All-Age Worship. These groups are where children receive age appropriate teaching:
Tiddlers
This is the group for the youngest members of our congregation aged 0-2 years old. It enables the children to let go of their parents in a safe, loving environment. They meet in the Crèche in the church extension. Parents are asked to bring and collect their children from this group.
Starfish
The children in this group are 2yrs – end of reception year. in the back of the church extension. Learning about Jesus happens amidst the fun and activities in this group. Parents are asked to bring their children to, and collect them from, this group.
Dolphins
The children in this group are school years 1 and 2 and meet in the Dance Studio across the High Street. Our aim is to create a caring environment where children will flourish and grow. They gather in the church foyer and walk across together with the leaders. They will be brought back to the church at the end of the service.

This group aims to give the children opportunity to grow in their Christian faith and share the love they have for Jesus with their friends.
Tidal Waves
This group is for school years 5 and 6 and meets in the Vicarage. Fun & games and different ways to discuss the Bible helps these young people to apply God’s word to their lives, with the support of their peers, and encouragement of their leaders.
Annual Registration Forms
Parents/Carers are asked to complete a form giving information which might be needed in their absense. This is confidential, kept in the Church Office and completed when a child first joins a group. It is updated each September, or sooner if any information changes.
Whose responsibility?

We do all we can to provide a safe and loving environment in which our children and young people can grow. During the group times the leaders and helpers are responsible for the children but once they are handed over at the end of the group they become the responsibility of their parents/carers. We anticipate that all adults will be aware of the potential risks with open doors, hot drinks and excited children.
We take child protection very seriously and ask all of our helpers to under go a police check before helping with the kids and follow our procedures for keeping children safe.
