 Youth at St. George's
Youth work at St George’s Deal is for young people aged 11-19.
We run various groups for different ages. Our aims are to reach OUT to others, develop INwardly as Christian disciples through cells & seek UPwards to encounter God.
THE VISION... ‘YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING FOR JESUS’
We want to see young people…
- Living life to the full by following Jesus.
- Active as the church of today, called and able to transform their society, bring in God’s Kingdom.
- Discovering real transforming relationships with their peers and members of all generations.
- Meeting with God and making a difference in the world in Jesus’ name.
We seek to see see young people grow and develop in their faith through discipleship. We believe everyone has a part to play within our community and ministry as a church and therefore invest in young people as peer leaders. It is our intension to equip and release young people to support and care for one another. We also seek to reach out beyond14/05/10h a variety of young people and their differing cultures found in Deal.
 For Yrs 7—9.
Meets on a Sunday mornings during the service (10.30am—12ish). For going deeper - "Emerge" takes place on Monday evenings 7—8pm in the church extension.
For Yrs 10—13.
Meets on a Sunday evening 7-8.30pm in the church extension or social stuf and group discussion on life issues. For going deeper, "The Core" meets on a Tuesday evening 7.30—9.00pm in the church.
 For ALL YOUTH >>> Yrs 7—13.
Usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month
A Youth service for Youth, planned & led by Youth. 7.00—9.00pm in the Church.
